Ayurveda and Yoga Wellness Teacher Training ~
September 18 - December 9, 2009

I will not die an unlived life.
I will not live in fear
Of falling or catching fire.
I choose to inhabit my days,
To allow my living to open me,
To make me less afraid,
More accessible,
To loosen my heart
Until it becomes a wing,
A torch, a promise.
I choose to risk my significance;
To live so that which came to me as seed
Goes to the next as blossom,
Goes on as fruit.
                                   ~ Dawna Markova

"It is the example of a seasoned practitioner and masterful teacher who is
living Yoga and Ayurveda in all aspects of her life that moves me to study
with Myra Lewin ... her everyday actions speak for themselves" - student

You cannot transmit something you do not have.  The ability to be present as a
teacher is a reflection of ones own life practices. Know yourself first, then you will
intuitively see how you can be of benefit to others.

Myra shares experience, knowledge, skills, and insight that will assist you in
your personal practices and teaching.  Sessions are designed to meet your
individual needs.

In this teacher training you have the opportunity to transform and renew your
commitment to the ultimate goal of Yoga. You will have the opportunity to
dig deeply to find the place of peace and joy within you. When you dig
deeply, the practices of Ayurveda and Yoga lead to a new awareness
resulting in increased consciousness, freedom, and gratitude. From this
place of inner attunement flows inspired living and teaching.

Testimonials

"Being with Myra was a place where I could begin to answer my own deepest
questions. Myra teaches in a clear concise manner that allows you to digest
the yogic teachings and integrate them into your being and everyday actions.
Myra truly glows and you cannot help but to be eternally lit by her essence.
It was in meeting and being given the time to spend in study with Myra that
I truly began to believe in God. It was the simplicity of relating the
teachings to everyday life, that Myra was able to set an example of a life
in the western world devoted to union with the divine. Myra teaches great
tools to use in my now everyday progress toward understanding myself and my
higher power. If anyone out there truly wants to live a life toward yoga,
Myra will assist you in creating your own path by showing you the
possibilities."
 ~ A. Nelson, BC Canada

"The teacher training I received through Myra took me on a journey of self-
development  and exploration that I never thought possible.  As a combat
veteran, the philosophical readings and discussions connected to places
in myself I had forgotten even existed.  The Baghavad Gita and life's
eternal inner and outer battles and questions posed by Arjuna to Sri
Krishna refocused my spiritual search and understanding of where I
want my life to focus.  Myra's classes continually reinforced the concept
that for us to be able to effectively teach, we must first understand ourselves.

Twelve weeks of exploring and teaching asana, fascinating classroom
discussions, healing therapy, pranayama, meditation, Ayurvedic philosophy,
and absorbing the Yoga lifestyle passed much too fast.  The one hour walks
before class, six incredibly motivated classmates, field trip to see the Dalai
Lama speak, Sunday class surfing trips, and learning to cook and eat in the
Ayurvedic style was an experience of self-discovery.  I lost twenty pounds and
feel stronger and healthier than any time in my life.

Passing through the psychic pain of self-realization, Myra guided me to
accept what I can do as my best, have no expectations of the future,
never take myself too seriously, laugh frequently and enjoy life's blessings
now."
~ Bob Mikell, Kula, HI,  part two, new yoga teacher
